In the few pictures online, it looks like it would clear. But can't say for sure till it's tried.

We did some more testing on our rear diffuser *without diff covers* and *installed at the lowest setting* to fit the Tomei Type 80 I'm currently running. This time with flow visualization fluid. Few neat findings:

-The air does indeed follow the curve up on the rear upturn lip, which proves it functions.
-We can assume most of the diffuser surface has clean attached flow from the test section.
-We found a vortice coming off the exhaust cutout location. Pretty neat to capture it in our opinion.

Something to keep in mind, the faster you go, the more air will want to stay attached. This isn't intuitive as you'd think air would be less likely to curve around objects at faster speeds.

We were asked a while ago about rear spats. We have finally pulled the trigger on some so we'll share the prototype units. They will be out of a 2x2 twill carbon thermoplastic.

Thanks,
Eric

Do you have CFD data published yet? Is that the new skirt peeking in the last pic?

I don't see the point of selling a special plate. But considering you have all the computer models, I'd love to hear your opinion on where a differential cooler or additional cooling could be had.

We have not. We have to do it in ANSYS yet, we did all the CFD on OpenFOAM previously and have to redo everything in ANSYS. Not sure if we will have the data from ANSYS available at the time these are available.

Yes, that is the skirt.

I'm sorry, I don't believe I fully understand your question.

Thanks,
Eric

Question for anyone running this with the rocket bunny v1 rear diffuser, what extra work/modification if any was needed to mount this. Thanks!

There is no CFD/wind tunnel data on any other side splitter design out there. So comparisons can't really be made.

From what we were told, it requires some turn buckles in the rear two points and a small slit on the bottom of the bumper.

Thanks,
Eric

So fedex dropped off my package it said from tracking. Come to find out they dropped it off at a house two blocks away. Get it together fedex lol

Anyway, I wanted to thank Eric because of how efficient he was with shipping this out and the quick responses. The diffuser quality is amazing. The fit, finish, and the template were more than perfect. I can't wait to get the splitter and the LCA's especially knowing how great the quality and fit is. Thanks again Eric!

It really is not too bad, I have gone through some bad dips and a few different steep driveways and i have yet to hit it. I just go extremely slow.
