Here is the money shot of the modified Velox brake cooling kit to fit the inlets to the grill. I cut off another 6 inches of the 3 inch hose off of what is pictured above.
![]() I mounted the supplied fog light mounts to the crash beam and covered the inlets with screen. should be all set form here.

I participated in a local autocross. I was too lazy to remove the aero so I was stuck in CSP. I am not an autocross guy and don't usually take it seriously but I did post the fastest time of the day in CSP. However, I think it was only me and two other people in the class. The course was pretty technical and included a roundabout. I quickly turned it into a drift circle. When it comes to track days I am the most professional driver I can be, but for some reason when it comes to autocross I become a 16 year old hoonigan. Anyway here are a few pics.

I have officially decided to compete in NASA Time Trials. It is something I have wanted to do for a while and looks like it will be a possibility for the 2017 season. I will be competing in northeast region TTC so I have some big changes coming up.

I was at Palmer Motorsports park this weekend with NASA for a HPDE event. It was my first and last day in HPDE 2. I was promoted to HPDE 3 my third run in.
My hankook rs3s held up well despite ending the day at the wear bars. I was fighting over steer a little throughout the day however over steer track out seemed fast on turn 3 and turn 8. The braking system held up well but Palmer doesn't have too many hard braking points. Oil temp didn't get hotter than 225 deg F and coolant temps were perfect despite it being a sunny 95 deg F day. The only victim was my front fender liners. My tire must have been skimming the front of them in the first 2 runs and by the third I had to cut the bottom portions out. I think this was due to the fact that the front portion was not attached to anything so the air flowing through the grill was pushing the liners towards the tires. No biggie. I work as a design engineer at a fabrication shop and am planning on a designing a radiator shroud to funnel the air into the radiator instead of into the wheel wells. Here are some pics. Enjoy. Sorry fender liners. RIP ![]() ![]() I got my car weighed for TT (time trials) next year. Shes still pretty fat but here is my current weight with a full tank and me in the car. Looks like more interior needs to come out. Adding 50 lbs of roll bar soon. ![]() My car and a friends car. Aggressive and non-aggressive Velox rear diffuser. ![]() Really digging this exocet. I have wanted one for a while. This was an instructors ![]() The tight corners and elevation at Palmer is insane. This pic was from our camp site in turn 1.

Nope. Just Time trial, like what the westcoast guys do. Check out their website 86cup.us rules and classing calculator is the same.

Not much to post as I am waiting for the 2017 NASA time trial rules to come out before deciding a direction for modding to be competitive. I am participating in my first HPDE 3 event with NASA at Lime Rock on Sept 9th and I will be at (but not competing) Watkins Glen for the NASA Time Trial Eastern Championships.
Also. I bought new front fender liners from a Subaru dealership. $40 each. Not to bad. Turns out I never re-installed the front plastic clips to attach the liners and the air coming from the grill pushed the liners into the tires.

My OEM battery has been on the fritz for a while now (I think a cell shorted) so I pulled the trigger on a Braille unit from FT86Speedfactory. Fits and works well. And I lost 19lbs. Win win.

@Takumi788 pic isn't working for me!
I've been considering a PC680 with a nice bracket for a while, but I don't like the FT86Speedfactory branding, and the KCMachine one is specifically for a Shorai which I haven't had good luck with in the past.

How did you like Palmer Motorsports Park? I live about 2 hours away and had a chance to ride shotgun in a EVO X with a pro driver. Lots of hairpins and no limited run off.

I liked it a lot! Its like a touge track and it is perfect for our cars. The lack of run off was a little sketchy but not terrible. My only complaint was the rocks on the track. But I hear they have a plan to minimize this. The track is still unfinished.
