It seems boring, I know, but decisions you make right now financially will set or screw you. I could do the same thing, but I'm 38. Nothing I do will have near the impact small decisions you make at 14 do.

When I was 12, I called a "stockbroker." That's how you bought stocks back then. I asked him if I could buy one share of Reebok because that's all I had money for, but in a couple months, I was thinking of buying one share in McDonald's. LOL. He must have busted up laughing at me.

You're never too young to start though. You can open IRA's now, other vehicles. If there are some you can't, you just have your parents help you open it if age is a problem.

You can't underestimate the power you have being as young as you are with a brain. That's no small feat!

As far as the car, look around here. They may be cheaper up here, and maybe I'll drive it down to you!

LOL, but ya I think i'll look into all the IRA stuff this weekend and see what I do, because I know that would be the smart decision, thanks. And car wise.... basically everything here in Cali is either illegal, or expensive...

But i'd be down^^^ LOL, I'm sure that maybe be a fun trip for you and your son

Preferably, SWP or Raven black, but there's always the chance to wrap it in the future
and FR-S, but idc about the model, its honestly just different, bumper, front lights and a tad bit softer rear end

Ya too bad, just bc no one knows how to drive MT I don't go for one like that. And ya like u said above how they weren't cheaper, I looked around last month and they were still at 20k+ so they hold value well, so it's kinda tough to find one for a low enough price, thats why I think the one here is the best. Want a link so u could see how it is?

Personally, I would try hard to learn to drive a manual. Still buy an auto maybe if you want, but at least know how. My sister can't ever borrow my car when she needs it because she never bothered to learn.

Driving schools might teach you, things like that. Just my opinion. I think in the long run it will be worth it.

Oh ya 110% planning on learning manual, just never had a car to practice on. maybe when it becomes mine I'll do an MT swap, but as of now it has to be auto

I'll not say to you to not buy it, but I'll make a dump question. Do you know to drive? It is not a good idea to learn driving on this car. Maybe use your dad's old corolla for some years and learn to drive first ...
