I know I went over it before, but just in case I missed anything.

What are the different between this and a BRZ Prem?

Besides the Nicer Alcantra trims "grand lux" stuff this is also partial on the seat as well.

The emblems, I think the rear has a diffuser.

Less sound deadening I guess. But that's not really something to get charged unless you're Porsche where they charge you for less i.e. Boxster Spyder

Just thinking what's the stuff that's 800$ difference

Feel free to correct whatever I put down is wrong thx

It doesn't quite work that way though

In the US the 2016 BRZ starts at $25,395 USD

In Canada the 2017 BRZ starts at $27, 995 CAD

I thought the premium BRZ actually had more options?

Nope, as far as things seems it's just like the last BRZ premium, just has different seats and stuff stated above.I forgot why the last BRZ premium was different than the FRS besides the looks. I think the suspension was tuned different too.

Doesn't seem like theirs a lot of incentive to buy an 86 over a BRZ Premium if you're looking for no frill stuff tbh.

I think the old Brz premium had the red stitching on the ebrake boot and ebrake handle. Even my monogram didn't come with that.

Yeah, it seems the 86 comes with nicer seats and door trim. Its hard to tell though...aren't all the 2017 BRZ pictures of the limited?

Yeah I'm looking around and not finding much of the trim below it from any country. At least not an interior photo anyways, the only difference on the outside is no spoiler and no fog light between limited and premium. Can't find samples of the premium seats, I think it's the same thing as the outgoing BRZ because it's not the same seat as 86.

I'll search around and see, also it seems that the dealers haven't gotten their prices. Or it's just showing as MSRP for them no invoice, guess it's more wait time.

A BRZ would have cost me $8,000 more than a FRS here in Regina (pre tax and what not). It may have actually been a larger discrepancy. So basically F that.

2017 Toyota 86 Arrives At US Dealerships, Priced From $27,120

Quote:
Toyota announced pricing for their new 2017 Corolla, 86 and Corolla iM models.

With Scion dead and gone, the FR-S will adopt the Toyota 86 nameplate along with a more aggressive styling, better handling and slightly more power.

Thanks to its revised engine tuning, the two-door rear-driven coupe now produces 205hp (207PS) and 156 lb-ft (212Nm) of torque, with the latter now offered at a wider range of revs.

The chassis has been updated with new shocks and different spring rates while both manual and automatic models now come with Hill Start Assist Control as standard. Toyota also announced an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 23 mpg city and 32 mpg highway with the six-speed automatic transmission and 20 city/27 highway with the six-speed manual transmission.

Pricing for the 2017 Toyota 86 starts at $27,120 with a manual transmission, an increase of $950, and $27,840 for the six-speed automatic, $570 more than before.

The Toyota Corolla gains also a sportier look for MY2017, thanks to a new grille and LED headlamps. The cabin gets an updated fabric interior, available in Almond, Ash/Dark Gray or Black/Brown color schemes. The climate control panel is also redesigned while Toyota added circular air vents for a more upscale feeling.

Toyota will also offer a special 50th anniversary edition of the new Corolla, limited to 8,000 units. The special version will come in three exterior colours: Classic Silver, Blizzard Pearl and the exclusive Black Cherry Pearl. The interior features black mixed media seats with Black Cherry piping and contrast stitching with the dash panel and door trim finished in the same theme.

As for the 2017 Toyota Corolla iM, this now comes with Toyota’s Safety Sense as standard as well as eight standard airbags. Power comes from a 137hp 1.8-litre four-cylinder petrol engine which is paired either to a six-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.

Pricing for the 2017 Corolla starts at $19,365 while the 2017 Corolla iM model asking for $19,615. The new Toyota 86 and Corolla iM models will arrive at dealerships later this month, with the updated Corolla to reach them in early September.

3.8% - that's a hefty price jump for a car that is selling so slowly. Not seeing anything in the update to justify that really.
