"Come Race Me Bro" Encounters

I was using Virtual Dyno to see if my mods are in my head or if I've really added some power. On the highway I was in 4th, slowed down as much as possible to create more space in front and get the RPM lower. There was a Durango in back of me when I floored it to start the virtual dyno run. He must have thought I was racing because he put the hammer down at the same time LOL. I didn't even realize it honestly I was pretty far ahead.

He only caught up after I lifted then he pulls up next to me and revs the engine. Sorry dude, I didnt mean to incite a race.

I've only been owned by a Tesla model S 90D.........but I guess almost every Super car is also raped by the tesla 0-60, hahha. So I juts brushed it off.

From off the line, I've owned GTI's no problem, audi S4 no problem, 5.0 mustangs, challengers.... oh and some dude on an Infinity g37, and that one seemed to be modified too, the ones i mentioned before were stock. But yeah, boosted BRZ is fast. Next step is to rebuild the motor and double the boost. coming for u dear tesla, :-P

Lol damn, I just lost to an Auto 370Z lol it was my buddy's car. Now I'm just here like damn, all these NA mods and I'm still slow af!!

Automatic 370Zs are actually faster than their manual counterparts.... that's why less people on the Z forums talk shit about the automatic transmission when they realize 0-60 times are faster with the auto lol

I never knew that, I thought their autos would be like the automatics of our cars.

Yeah, at the 60 roll I was with him for a good 2 seconds and after that he left me, an then on the 40 roll well. I wasn't with him at all LOL.

Had a 370z last Saturday come up and try to race. I immediately denied to race, what's my 4 banger to your v6? I kept driving the same speed and he was annoying enough to speed up and slow down for like 5 minutes straight.


He finally left. Then, it turns out we are going the same way the whole time. I catch up to him and this Camaro passes us both. I stick my arm out the window. Of course the 370z without hesitation comes up to me, thinking Im finally gonna race. I yell out my window "Why don't you race him?!".


He sped off caught up to the Camaro. They started going at it and the Camaro smoked the 370z. Turns out it was probably a Camaro SS to beat him by that much. I was in the back laughing after that.

Of course the 370z had a temp tag, so you know he was probably going to every car that he saw to race.

that's hilarious...when I had my Z I would always double check to make sure it wasn't a 5.0 or a SS or SRT8 lol

I have an easier solution I use, I just don't street race. Seems to solve the problem.

Yesterday I have some stupid idiot in a Volkswagen CC ride up on my ass in a merge lane..so I moved over and then he floored it all the way to the end where the lane ends and overtook a couple cars by hugging the curb and grass and went way over the speed limit all the way down the straightaway...i thought congratulations you can go fast in a straight line..how about you show how fast you are to that M3 a few cars ahead of you now

like everyone else says..you just ignore them and go on with your day..they are the ones wasting gas and risk getting a pricey ticket and court visit

Got sandwiched between a lowered Golf with some other mods and a Genesis (also modified) coming onto a highway on ramp and we all decided to play a little. The Golf got on the throttle hard, I gave her a little less (having fun (not racing)) and kept up (I don't think he was expecting that). The Genesis didn't keep up until it straightened out. We all merged, I set my cruise at 119 km/hr and the other two merged further into the middle lane and decided to keep playing. I half expect one or both to be pulled over further up the road, but, never saw them again.
