Same thing happened to the Integra/RSX. The Civic fit the role and they didn't want to produce 2 of the same vehicle with all different body panels

Really? I remember thinking about how tacky it looked, especially with the factory bodykit. It was way too aggressive for how slow of a car it was. Kind of like another Toyota that I know...

Obviously this is all subjective though.

That front end looks a lot like lexus now actually. Has that same middle hour glass shape. Otherwise I think it looks good. Not as good as it could but still good. The body kit thing was big in the 90s it's not surprising they jumped on the band wagon and made it aggressive. Look at how aggressive cars look now, and they still aren't fast

Rumor has it Honda will release a 'baby NSX' in the next 1-2 years. You can also think of it as a next gen S2000 because convertible and hardtop will be available. It will be powered by a detuned version of the turbo found in the Civic Type R.

Honda just trademarked the name ZSX a few days ago.

Call me insane... but is it weird that I somewhat actually prefer the Corolla XRS over the Celica in the looks department?

You comparing an incompetent factory to an incompetent dealer? Well I guess that makes sense.
