See, that's what I wanted to know for sure.

I'm not a fanboy - I'm just an owner who is learning about all of this stuff that it seems everyone else must know from following the creation of this car. It fits in my garage, and I fit in it. It just happens to be a very cool iconic car - and although I'm very happy to have made this choice, some of the details don't make sense. Like: If mine is a Toyota, why is it a Toyota, if it was built in a Subaru plant?

It's complicated. I only know from seeing other people mention it. I saw the car in Import Tuner when I was looking for Zs and RX7s and decided it was the best deal. Didn't know there was a Subaru version or anything other than it was RWD, had 4 cylinder and looked FUCKING AWESOME. New I know there is this whole back story for it. Gives it character

Kind of like have a cute puppy, in that sense? Like, women love puppies? Or, in the sense that your son is with you at all times, so they are less likely to look?

Actually, I don't think the women that will date you because your car is yellow particularly care what you look like, they are driven by a different desire. To be seen, and they will do anything - just so long as they are seen in it. I could be wrong though.

Well it's designed by Toyota, that's why it looks nice and has both port and direct injection, etc... it wouldn't be fair just to label it a Subaru. And I'm a Subaru fanboy saying this.
