Thanks for the clarification.

That's a really good question. As far as I can tell, most BRZ's aren't ordered which means dealers get a pretty random supply of them from whatever's allocated. Since this is the case, it makes sense that Subaru will have Limited PP's for allocation early in its availability.

Separate from customer orders is in the early allocation acceptance phase, dealers can request different colors or packages. If a dealer's general manager wanted the Limited PP for their store, they can change a normal BRZ model to it before the unit is built.

Those would be the two ways other than a customer order that a Limited PP would land on a dealer's lot, so the question would be how long would a car like that stay available on said dealer's lot.

Just came back from talking to a dealer locally to me that has one of my close acquaintances. The Numbers look good for me on the Premium and the Limited, the Limited with PP is kinda hefty imho.

I think I might shoot alittle higher for Limited without PP, Im still waiting on the Toyota Camp to release some numbers.

I have a Mid September/Mid October arrival in the VA area and from what I understand it's not a very big number.

I also feel as if the dealers don't seem to enthusiastic about it, I guess also of them are afraid that these will Sit, compared to WRX which would prolly fly off shelves.

Might just be my assessment.

The Limited + PP is hefty in what way? Price?

Did you get the feeling they would be willing to go lower on pricing since they expect them to sit?

Also if you know someone good to deal with locally let me know.

Hello My S2000 Friend! I think it's been a while since we saw eachother at a S2ki meet.

I get the feeling that they(depending on dealer) are willing to go lower if it sits, but at the moment it's hard to say if anyone in our area is getting a Limited with PP. Or what anyone is getting or what will sit. All I know is it seems that it's a very small number in this first batch, we're talking 1-2 unit per dealer.

I'll PM you details!on contacts

I ordered my BRZ in mid april, the dealer said the stock was completly out in the entire nordic area, and have been given a estimated arrival of around 10th of september. What are the odds that it's a 17? Didn't know about the refresh when i put down the order.

I think it's a pretty good chance. Although I don't know how the European market works. They are suppose to be on lot in Germany and UK ( the Toyota GT86) anyways at the end of September. That's the impression I'm getting.

So my dealer just told me there's a possibility my order will arrive the end of August since they already have an eta of 9/8. They even went ahead and ordered all my accessories to have it ready for dealer install. This is my 4th week, so I'm hoping I get lucky in two weeks.

I'm assuming you meant September? 😬 Did they tell you what color and trim they were getting? I wonder who will get to be the first official MY17 owner on the forum lol I'm really looking forward to seeing owner pics soon instead of having to view the media gallery to keep my appetite satisfied waiting around lol

Zaku, where in VA are you located? I'm in the Hampton Roads area and if your dealer is close to here and already getting a white I might grab that from him instead of ordering one and waiting longer.

Just joined this forum as I just ordered my PP BRZ today. I had been following this thread previously and thought I'd share my knowledge of the situation in hopes it helps others.

First off, anyone who wants the performance package please wait to get it. I can't say my source or any specifics, but you'll be kicking yourself very soon if you order a non pp right now expecting them to take a long time to release it. I already know when mine will arrive and I'll update you guys when I am allowed to. You may be able to find a way to order one also, but I can't disclose how I did.

Second, do not pay more than invoice for this car in any variety. I've heard all kinds of dealers say anything from to 'It's a really hot car, so giving it to you at sticker is a really good deal. Most people are marking them up' to, 'Invoice? I'll do $250 below invoice'. There is no shortage of dealers who will do invoice or even below, so shop around if you aren't getting that. Demand is not high for these cars. It's an amazing bargain of a car, but the only people who are buying them are on this thread. Most sales people haven't even had anyone ask them about them yet and are totally clueless. I am in southern california btw.
