On another note, I wonder if the Raceseng pulley's would work?
I would assume the bearing failed. Best not to drive it until fixed but it's very easy to replace.

Matt already got a hold of me! He's quick. Should have another pulley bearing sent out soon.

looking at the raceseng pulley I'd agree that their tensioner should work with our kit
as it has a front fence and we found we had to add a pulley with a fence to work with our belt run otherwise the belt jumps forward and off

We'll sort mr Weederr out with a replacement parts as soon as we can

I have to praise Cosworth for their help. So not only did I need a new tensioner pulley, as it was grinded to hell due to the bearing failing, I now need a new tensioner. So, I have that ordered. Man it is hell having to deal with something so small rendering my car useless, but at least they helped me out by practically over-nighting the parts.

So now I can officially say I had parts over-nighted from somewhere

glad it got there OK chap

here's one for the collective

I'm interested in changing the stock intake over to something with a larger MAF tube so I can rescale the MAF without it topping out and to remove the inlet restriction that comes into play over 300Bhp
if there anything on the market that has a larger MAF tube to take our MAF sensor , and maintains the stock ( more or less ) exit position?
Perrin perhaps? but that's still 3" so no larger than stock?

Grimmspeed requires no tuning so must be same ~70mm diameter.

Perrin big maf is 76mm which gives a little headroom but might not be enough for 350+hp worth of airflow.

Welp, better do what the turbo guys do, and just stick a big intake cone on the end of the supercharger pipe! hahaha

Also... is Cosworth hinting they are working on more power for our cars?!

Skunk2 powerbox without the tapered velocity tube perhaps?? Their blurb says it tapers from 96mm ID down to 70mm ID.

that skunk box looks quite decent
shame that the exit is angled away but I might be able to make something work with that

Matt as you know I've been looking at intake and I'm not too far from Northampton. Give me a shout if you want to do any testing on my car or need any help. I like the look of the skunk intake too as you don't need to take the bumper off!
