E-Brake Boot Loose

I noticed today that my E-Brake boot wasn't in its slot properly, so I had to readjust it. No problem. I got home and pulled my E-Brake and the boot came out of the slots again. Has anyone else had this issue? If so anyone found a solution?

It only happens when I pull the E-brake in one motion instead of slowly pulling it up.

i furiously yank up and down on my handbrake constantly so yes i've had a similar issue if not worse

the only solution i found is to use armor all to make the handle slippery for less friction

Mine has done this since new. The stock boot is too tight. When you pull the ebrake up, the tension on the boot pulls the frame up and out of the slots in the center console.

I just push it back in every time...
