Had a coworker pull up next to me in his new M4 told me my car sounded good and started asking me what I had done so far... I guess its a cool thing.

GD thing gives me a headache though lol

It was at a Dennys in some small town in the middle of the night. I was the only one in there. I remember eating in total silence, it was probably like 2 or 3 in the morning. Just me and this young waitress. I didn't really notice her past the occasional thank you for refilling my drink and stuff. When I came up to pay my bill she tells me how beautiful my car is, how good it sounds and stuff. Not gonna lie, it felt pretty good.

Had my first "sweet ride bro" yesterday.

Just had my new wheels/tires installed and was leaving the shop with my old wheels/tires in the back. Driver in the UPS truck next to me asks "Just put the summer performance tires on? The car looks great."

Went back and forth with him a bit about the car. It was an interesting conversation as all could see the entire time was his shoes as he was sitting probably a good 4 feet higher up than me.

Ya I can now tell you the make and model of most SUVs and trucks (and many sedans) just by looking at their door handles.

Had someone tell me they almost bought a BRZ, but didn't because of kids. They loved my CE28n's a lot, then started talking to me about the car....about how it should've been FWD, because RWD makes you lose about 30-50hp through the drivetrain, so it would've been faster and better to drive. Proceeded to say the car was made to compete with the scion "FSR". Also mentioned how it's the same engine as a 90s forester's.

I just acted like I didn't know anything and kept saying the occasional o orly, and that's cool. Lol

Noone directly spoke to me yet however after getting my new wheels i've noticed a lot more stares. I think it's because a lot of people are trying to figure out whats making the car look aggressive while at first glance it looks completely stock.

While I was dipping my emblems in my parking lot,my downstairs neighbor gave me a "sick whip" as he hopped onto his Yamaha R6.

Also had a guy give me a "nice ride" as I was filling my windshield fluid at the gas station.
