OFT CEL Code reading clearing - reset tune?

i had the P2097 code yesterday, comming back from the track.

i cleared the code with OFT, and I've realised this morning that the pedal gas "lag" we normaly have after a "ecu flash" is back... is it normal? does it "restart" the flash when we clear a code?

I will have to check my exhaust line, as it hit the front subframe when i do hard left turn (OP/DP nameless on a OFT header), wich is probably one of the cause of this cel..

With that code id be checking for exhaust leak or intake or maf dirty

yes when you reset cel codes it resets ecu tune is not effected but learned arameters are lost, same as if you reflash or remove battery connection

thank you sir!

yeah, probably a leak, and the impact of the op/dp on the subframe is for sure not helping!

i will change my header + op/dp gasket soon, and also inspect the header to make sure!

How's your LTFT?

Turning off a CEL doesn't fix the problem. If you didn't fix the issue causing the CEL your car will still have the problem, just not the light. The rich mixture is causing the car to run like shit. Now fix your exhaust, it can't hit anything when you turn, fix it, fix it right and make it perfect. No slop, no movement.

i totally agree

i plan to unmount the header + op / dp, to change the gasket, and also check the header for cracks, as there seems to be an "exhaust leak sound" even if i couldn't find it on visual inspection while mounted on the car.

then i will arrange the exhaust so that there is no more "hit" while driving under harsh condition

as for the LTFT, i can't say how it was, but still i datalogued the situation while coming back from the track, but i didint checked the log since, as i havent drove the car since
