No PP, not available in Canada sadly. At least not yet.

I negotiated for invoice and got it. By the way, what was your order date if you don't mind me asking? I'm surprised that they are already on the boat to NA. Thought it wouldn't be til another few weeks at least.

July 7th was the date that I was informed that the MY17's became available to order and was given an ETA of approx 7-8 weeks pending no delays.

Mind if I ask what number invoice actually is?

Thanks! Yours was ordered exactly two weeks before my date. I take it that you're in Canada so I'm honestly not quite sure what your invoice cost is exactly...I can only say that my trim was the limited AT at invoice for $27,947 + TT&L. That's here in the US, so it'll vary. Maybe your rep can provide that to you, it shouldn't be a big deal unless you haven't negotiated pricing beforehand and only made a deposit.

Here's to hoping I get the same news in two weeks since it appears yours was roughly a month to hit the boats.

Perfect, thanks. I have been quoted 29, 995 which is bang on MSRP, however there are all the other crap that I dont think I can get away from (licensing fees, stewardship taxes, etc)

I set everything up yesterday - $27,800 before TT&L - $29,900 out the door. Was advised 8 to 12 weeks, but they're expecting it to be closer to the 8 weeks since there is not a huge demand for the BRZ. Limited trim Automatic in Northwest Indiana

So I just called SoA and they said I have a VIN already. My ETA is 9/8 so I'm getting it hopefully earlier than that date or no later than mid-Sept. Just a few weeks away!

Wow! No kidding...

There is a long list of 2017 models that are on a boat and that have an ETA month of September! Mostly in the Central Region and East Coast.

Edit: None of the cars scheduled for September are Performance Package cars. In fact, I can't even do an inventory search on cars with the option because it doesn't list it as a choice!

I'm driving my 2013 Corolla making a build for an 86 over a year ago, been waiting for "2017 Turbo version", and thinking about the car every single day since it was announced in March, read every possible article and watched every possible video probably like you guys, and ordered it at $37k in Australia (supposed to be 39).

It's end of November for me we always get things after everyone else, AND at a much steeper price. Only a few (and a bit more) months left haha. Rims and hood being made and will have them before the car hah.

Seems Like it would be easier for people to grab non PP models then if so many are holding out for PP. In your educated Opinion is this going to be true? wanted to hear a view from someone at a dealership

Thanks,

Thanks,
I'm not too sure because 2-3 out of 50 people I meet are interested in the BRZ. It's a very small amount, but the people who have walked the past month have mentioned that they are aware of the 2017 models being released this fall but I haven't met anybody yet who was specifically interested in the BRZ with Performance Package.

The first available '17 BRZ's will definitely be non-PP models. If demand for the non-PP model is the same as '16 models then I also believe they will sit on the lot for an extended time. In fact demand (for non-pp model) could even decline if people wait for the PP model since the target market is so small.

Most likely the people picking up a 2017 Model (Non-PP) right away will be people who are casual driving enthusiasts who can't wait for the Performance Package to be released (like if their lease ends or if their old car is breaking down/totaled in accident).
