Reconnected the car battery after letting it sit for almost 16 hours fully off. Started the car up and fuel gauge still didn't reset. I'll try Ultra's advice and run the tank down till the light comes on, then fill it up again and hope that fixes it.

Else, its warranty time.

That method has worked for a few guys on here so I am optimistic. Don't remember reading where anybody ever had to actually get it fixed.

Yeah, just got finished reading many past threads and that fixed it for them.

Now the most important question, is there enough daylight left to make it to Mt. Rainer and back before full darkness hits?

Driving to @Ultramaroon's house only eats 1/4 of a tank (if I don't stop at rest areas) so that won't help at all. Maybe I can make it to the middle of Oregon...

There's a station 1.1 miles from my house, I'll just drive around the block when the light turns on. Or have my brother drive me while I hunt for pokemon. Can also get some egg hatching done. :o

Ashi has a point. It would be a good idea to have a gallon of fuel just in case something actually is wrong.
