USB cable end when not plugged into phone so it's not on the floor and I can grab it easier. usually falls back on the floor though

The cup holder slot was clearly made for the later gen slim phones anyway.
That's where I keep mine. I have a USB charger in the 12v outlet that's right there, the cord stays coiled underneath the charger until I need it, and the phone fits neatly in that slot. I hate having cords strung all across the console.
