GOT ONE!

I'm just excited about my new FRS and I wanted to make a thread about it!!!

Me picking it up at the dealer TODAY:

Old Car:

I'm pretty excited to take my driving to the next level with the car. I had gotten very fast with the GTI at autoX but it's very pretty limited with a FWD platform and it was DSG (FRS is 6MT). I felt like I was missing a skill needed, then when my freinds offered me co-drives in 400WHP STis and prepped STR S2000s I had to decline because I didn't know how to drive a manual! So I just drove it home from the dealer in Bay Area rush hour traffic so not the best start! LOL!

Also if you're in the Bay Area Piercy Toyota was great, good communication of when the car would come in (so I could time selling my GTI yesterday) and I paid MSRP!

How do you like going from such a round, egg-y car to a sharp edgy car?

So far so good! It's also nice to have steering that doesn't have power running through it!

Congratulations! I'm now with a GTI and wondering for quite some time if I switch to the FR-S/BRZ.

I loved my GTI (MKV), I'd buy another and recommend them to anyone... BUT after 4 years and 118K miles I was ready for something different. After I get the FR-S paid off 'm getting a TDi Golf for a DD.

WTF was with the traffic today. It was like everyone forgot how to let other people merge so it was a giant retard fest blocking the entire highway.

Congrats on the car though. Glad to see another one in the area. The numbers are growing steadily.

So far I've only seen a red FRS and white BRZ. I'm glad there is a lot of bay area people on here!

I usually don't like golf's cos they are bland looking booring bread and butter cars in here (i live in europe). But your ex-car looks very good and race-car'ish

And congrats for your new FR-S!

I see ur point. I had my MKVI for 2 years and I love everything from it. Perhaps I'll get a BRZ some time later. Maybe a Golf GTD they have in europe is good for your DD hah...
