Possible up-scale coupe to replace it, but not until after 2017.

Wonder if there will be a RWD Gen Coupe replacement in the Hyundai lineup or if Hyundai will simply double down on the Veloster.

From the sounds of it Hyundai (as a brand) is done with coupes. Gonna turn that all over to the Genesis marque. Guess the Hyundai crowd is going to have to learn to love a FWD hatchback.

Probably just didn't sell enough and understands the money is in BMW competitor's, since bmw's latest decade or so of vehicles are absolute garbage.

If they could make a FWD hatchback that didn't handle like a bowl of jello being steered by a handful of mashed potatoes, it would be easier to love it. I know it's possible, because Ford and Mazda can do it. At least it's a nice-looking car.

That is exactly the description I used after my test drive. That and a turbo that finally kicks in about 20 minutes after you parked the car. Sort of the same timing as a Taco Bell Burrito.
