Yes, I would recommend showing up a bit earlier to do so. You should asked them if you could sit in a earlier "first driver" lesson so that way you don't have to when we start later in the evening (do not let new drivers on track without lesson).

Race was awesome, last night!!! Pish was amazingly fast. He and the 2nd averaged 30~31 sec/lap on Monza.

I've never been to a meet (only had my car for about 5 weeks) and this looks like fun. Haven't driven a go-kart basically ever. If I come, how early should I get there and how shitty of a driver can I be at go-karting? ��

Most of us would usually arrived around 8-8:15. You can be as shitty as you want as long as you try your best not to block those aren't shitty

Nice man, welcome to the community!

Yeah we try to get there around 8pm, new drivers need to register and do this safety course thing before hopping on the track.
