I'm not sure if its the 'best' way. But it is an option. Tire rack usually gives you options for the stock offset which is pretty weak on our cars. Your other option is run spacers.

Got mine installed last weekend and I love them!

I currently have 245/40/17 RE-71R's mounted. Such a sweet combo!

I want to change from 17x9 Enkei RPF1 to these as they're roughly the same weight but are closer to Australian legal spec as they won't poke on the 1" drop I have on my car.

Really like the way they look.

Just for reference, I have a 1" drop on mine and it's pretty flush. I wasn't going for stance, but I like the way it sits now.
