The Canadian 2017 BRZ brochure was leaked over at NASIOC and there is no mention of the Performance Pack or Series Yellow. This seems consistent with the emails and tweets from Subaru of Canada regarding the uncertainty of the Performance Pack. Also, from the pictures, it looks like Canada is getting the old head unit.

Upside: we will still get nav here -I for one did not want to lose that functionality.

I am a little disappointed. One of my biggest gripes with my test drive of earlier BRZs was the awful touch screen, tiny buttons and slow to respond map on the infotainment system.

I was hoping for the updated version with the larger buttons and knobs. A $150 Garmin would stomp all over the the integrated navigation (even if it's not aesthetically pleasing).

Yeah, I saw that. I'm interested to see if they will bring another blue into BRZ again.

Looking at the picture of the new engine and intake manifold, does the new location of the MAF (or what looks like the MAF) right on top mean that switching to the aftermarket intakes currently on the market is no longer feasible?

Or have I misidentified my autoparts?

It's the same on all of the cars.

Totally unrelated though, I really love the look of the new intake.

Maybe an intake air temp sensor?

The sensor on the manifold is the MAP sensor. If you take the cover off your current manifold, you'll find the same sensor.

Do we think the manifold will be backwards compatible? Or would it require a host of additional parts? It's the only thing on the facelift I think is an improvement.

You don't think the better flowing intake and header is an improvement? Or the better built engine? Or more peppy FD?
