talking about sport bikes...i feel as if the ninja 300 is the closet thing to our fr-s ...supersport styling, not fast but fun to ride and very agile so you can flick it into corners with ease and rev the heck out of it without getting in trouble

The 86 feels plenty fast even though it isn't. Just don't get too complacent setting up passes. (just like a wound-out 250). |

I have been in a Fiesta ST. Great car but the exterior and interior styling are really not for me. I Still could end up in one for the right price.
WRX/STI are more of the same as the Mustang in terms of driving feel (too much power to truly romp on all the time, and not as light and nimble feeling as the twins. cost of commuting and not hugely more practical either) however if they still offered a hatchback I would be all over that. My leading two canidates right now are actually the BRFRSZ and a Mazda 3 GT hatchback. The later car is a bit of a dark horse but they are really fun to drive, way more practical, way better value and I really like the hatchback styling. I will miss RWD but this is a commuter, so i'm okay with that. |

I figure, if i want to beat a mustang 5.0, i can always upgrade the 86 with FI. at 350whp, the 86 has a much better power-weight ratio.

I felt the same way, so i went out and got an S2000. I figured I would keep both. But after a month of getting re-acquainted with the S2000 i just didnt really want to drive the BRZ much anymore. Mind you, neither of those cars were my daily beater. But the S2000 is one of a kind.

Well should you have a Mustang then any photo shoot area could become a cemetery even if it wasn't one when you started.

I am getting ready to add a Lotus Elise but there is no way I am ditching the BRZ as it stands with 365WHP E/85 and all the other stuff in it. It is my favorite DD ever. The Lotus will not be that - no way. But - it represents a side of the BRZ where I am not going to go - stripping out all the stuff that makes it my ultimate DD. I figure - why not start with an almost stripped car and go from there. The fact that it is around 1000 pounds lighter is amazing to me. Excited.
