I did my best, so we'll see. The people were really funny, so it was a great interview experience.

Hahaha couldn't do that either. I interviewed less than a block from my current position. I walked to it.

Conversation between our HR and myself if we had interviewed and that answer was given: HR - "Well what did you think of that guy?" Me - "Antisocial and don't think he will work well with the team. They would complain that he never talked and he thinks he is a better student then the rest? Really?" HR - "Ya there is more to being a good student than just working hard on grades" Me - "Also probably full of shit with that whole answer anyway." HR - "Yes I agree, well we have another one at two so hopefully they are better" (Writes 110 on the resume and notes and throws it on the desk) Don't try to out think interviewers or guess at what you feel they want to hear. Answer the questions honestly but just leave out anything really bad. Remember that most professional HR people have heard just about every single bullshit story 1,000 times and can see right through most of them. Those questions we ask are not nearly as random as they appear and it is rare that a interviewee can keep track of how they answered each one and frequently trip themselves up without ever knowing it. A better answer (depending on the position it may not be the best answer) would have been: "Well the people that I hung out with would say I am fun to be around, the other students that I completed group projects with expressed appreciation for my participation and I really enjoyed the interaction but there could be periods when I was really concentrating on insert applicable subject here and really did not have much time to interact with the others."

Some Mazda 3 bros starting talking shit to me on Instagram tonight. It all started over a Nextmod "team member" who posted saying they'd been accepted to the "crew". I asked how much money they had to spend to get accepted to the team.
Short of the long, some steroided out bro called me a ***got and all I said over and over again was "lol, you drive a base model Mazda, good job bro" I'm so much more fun when I drink. Here's to a $2M project going off without a hitch! |

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!!!
This evening I drove my FR-S to pick up some dinner. I was sitting at a light, when this non-descript vehicle pulled up in the lane on my right side. I could just see the front 1/3 of it, it was white, about the size of a SUV/Crossover, regular tires and wheels, driven by a middle aged man. A small black and white symbol or decal of the American flag was positioned on the fender (about where out boxer engine badge is). We both just sat there, at the quiet intersection. No revving of engines, no loud exhaust sounds. Then the light changed ……… holy shit ……. that thing took off ……. !! No loud exhaust sound, no squealing of tires, no torque steer like body movement …….. it just shot straight ahead ……. like a rocket sled. Before it had gone a half block, I heard it shift at least 4 times (sounded like a fast auto shifting), with a slight “pop” between shifts. The engine sounded more like a jet engine than a piston engine. As it screamed almost out of sight, I could see the back looked sort of plain and almost boxy. Help me guys ……. what was it …… ?? humfrz |
