Please PM me with information on sound levels with catless header, if possible. This exhaust has been on my short list and I am very interested, so if it provides manageable sound levels with open headers I call first dibs!

So with all the exhaust testing you've done, what would be your recommendation for a JDL catless header.
I installed one with a complete Perrin exhaust and now,😡, it has a horrible rasp and a light drone above 3K rpm.
For long AX trips, a bit much.
I can live with the loud but the drone, NO.

What front pipe setup do you have?

Perrin front pipe, over pipe, exhaust. All 2.5".
I'm actually surprised at the drone.

You have drone because your front pipe sucks at sound suppression.

Get stock, or any of the larger resonated front pipe with an actual resonator. most of the aftermarket catted front pipes actually amplify sound.
