I had a bunch of friends from Japan (and one Korean) visit today. 6 guys and 4 girls. The guys were all over the car, the girls completely ignored it... says something, but I'm not quite sure what.

Ok, update. I took three of the girls on a short run. Let's just say, they were a lot more enthusiastic than I expected once the TC was turned off.

So I hear as well, but haven't seen that particular result in this particular case. (They are from good families, and two of them don't pass the 1/2 age plus seven test)

was fueling up and an older fella looked over to me and said "that is a nice looking car, what is it?"

kept it simple and told him it's a Toyota 86 (mine has toyota badges on it) and he nodded and said "Cool!"

also seen a guy in a new model porsche cayman try to park in an open spot but came in at a weird angle..so he said screw it and looked around and saw my car had an open spot next to it and pulled up right next to me...he knows what's up lol

sitting at a red light...looked over to my right and some guy in an luxury suv (maybe an acura) looks over at me and gives me a thumbs up

I had the driver of a 2014 Mazda MX5 25th Anniversary Edition stop me and talk to me about my BRZ at the library the other day. Was a nice chat about cars and why we bought the ones we did.

While I was topping off corn juice this morning, a guy in a NC MX5 came over to talk cars. Told me about his older WRX wagon and that he wanted to get back into a flat-four and was considering picking up a used BRZ or FRS. Told him a bit about what I've done and the quickest/cheapest route to getting more power. Also told him about our local autocross club, hopefully he'll come out to the next event.

who said this car mainly attracts dudes asking for photoshoots and if it's fast lol

I walked into a liquor store by my house and the owner, an older lady, say to me "ohh what a beautiful car. What kind of car is that? I love the color!". She turns to the guy behind the cash register and says "That is my next car." as she walks out with her tablet to take a few pics.
