It's not like a 1 inch drop will make you scrape, look stanced, or otherwise be detrimental. Just drop it the full inch. If it's so little as to be unnoticeable then why even bother?

Just get the RCE yellows. The difference between 12.5mm and 20mm is pretty minimal. The spring rates are nice, too.

So wait, are there coils that have less than 20mm? I mean, I'm probably 95% likely to get RCE, but at this point I'm more curious than anything.
