Hello, I've been looking around the forum and trying to research the difference between the Eibach Pro Kit and the Sportline Kit for a 2016 BRZ but only seem to find older models. I think there is no difference between the suspension of previous BRZ models but I could be wrong. I just wanted to ask some questions and hopefully some of you guys could lead me in the right direction. I'm looking for a drop that won't be too low and I won't scrape which I think both springs are fine for that.
My main concern is if I will need to upgrade my shocks and struts if I get the Sportline? I'm currently running stock 17 inch wheels on my BRZ but in the future I plan on getting 18s will the Sportlines be too low for 18s? I don't want my tire rubbing. Right now I'm leaning more towards the Pro Kit but I also like how aggressive the BRZ looks with the Sportlines it just all depends if I will need to get new shocks and struts for the Sportlines, if I do I would just get the Pro Kit or just buy coilovers. Thanks! Any help and insight would be appreciated.

I have sportline on a 2014 BRZ with standard shocks and OEM wheels with spacers. The ride is firmer and ride height is very notable.

I have sportlines on stock shocks with 18x8 wheels. The ride is definitely a lot firmer and the drop is significant enough to cause slight negative camber in the rear. Nothing too extreme but it is present.

You're not going to suddenly start rubbing just by moving to 18" wheels. Generally you'd go with a tire that has a shorter sidewall than stock to get a similar overall diameter.

Both are intended to be used with OEM shocks.
Sport-lines provide about a 1.5 inch drop. Intended for looks Pro-kit provide about an inch drop. Intended to improve handling. I've actually just installed the Pro-kit about a week ago. Feels slightly firmer than Stock on straight bumpy roads. The biggest difference is less body roll in the corners.

for the inch and a half look, you're likely better off getting a set of more price efficient coilovers and going that route.. but thats just my opinion..

i have the prokit and i loved it i have 1 season of TimeTrial here in Northeast, less body roll and pretty aggressive on the corners. good learning springs if your autocrossing or tracking the car. picture on my signature is still on the prokit springs. if u decided to get a prokit mines for sale, just let me know.

I feel like i roll more with my pro kit. But when i did the install i went directly to 18x8 wheels with Pilot super sports. Sticky tires cause me to roll a little more.
Going to Coils to go lower. I wouldn't do sportlines, my friend had it on his car for a while but got annoyed at the noticeable change ride quality without getting the coilover-like performance he wanted.

Im on RSR Superdowns which are similar to the sportlines except the drop is staggered.
1.2" Front 1.4" Rear Aesthetically I think its the perfect drop, I do not desire go any lower. The extra rear camber didn't really cause much more tire wear (stock LCAs). The ride is MUCH firmer, but I don't really mind eventually I'll pair the springs with some Koni Yellows it'll be a good combo.
