Yeah, I've been following daily. I can live with either an auto or manual. At this point it's just a matter of preference for me. The only thing I think I'd miss out on is the PP for the manual. Other than that, I only care about the cars aesthetic appeal.

Would you kindly share with us what the invoice price was pretty please?!

Well mine is going to differ than what everyone else is getting based on the trim. But for those ordering a limited in automatic it's going to be $27,947 plus TTL.

So a limited manual should be around the range of $26,800, which is $800 more than the current BRZ, but isn't bad at all!

The rotors are the same size as the STI rotors at 326f/316r, which is larger than our current rotors at 294f/290r. The piston sizes are different than the STI, which I assume is to manage brake bias. Will it be as effective as the $3500 Brembo front BBK? Probably not. Will it be better than our current OEM brakes? Very likely.

These are the "cheap" brembos- Mass produced and OEM included. IE Cadillac 4 piston brembos that can be had for 80-100 each.

Do not know if they are of lesser quality since they are mass produced for large scale production and not the aftermarket market.

Has anyone received a VON yet that has submitted their order? My dealership says the system isn't accepting their submission.

The price increase should be about the same percentage-wise.
I'm estimating a Limited (called Sport-Tech here for some reason) with PP in non-premium paint at $31075 CAD.

BTW Subie Canada is currently putting $2000 on the hood of the 2016s per the configurator. Makes sense, the 2017s are going to be much more desirable, best to clear out the old stock before the 17s show up or they will never move it without huge discounts.

I went by the local dealership on Saturday and they showed me the ordering system. The 2017 model isn't listed for the BRZ yet. Pretty much everything else is in there for 2017 orders but the BRZ still only shows 2016.

So I don't think anyone has officially ordered one.

Yeah, bummer. I was told it's an issue at the corporate level at this moment and it's across all regions. Guess we shall just have to patiently wait a bit longer. Will update if I get any updates about my VON submission.

From my local dealer.

Copied and pasted from my corporate emailer from Subaru:

"BRZ Performance Package iNew for 2017 is a Performance Package (OP 02) available on BRZ Limited 6MT which further improves the already legendary handling and stopping power of the BRZ. This package includes Red BREMBO® 4-piston brake calipers with larger brake discs both front and rear. The front brake disc diameter increases from 11.6 inches to 12.8 inches, and the rear brake discs increase from 11.4 inches to 12.4 inches for greater braking force. The standard shock absorbers have been replaced with Sachs units for enhanced handling and steering stability. The Performance Package is competitively priced at just $1,195, bringing the MSRP of this model to $28,840.

The Destination and Delivery charge is $820 for 2017 BRZ (+ $150 for retailers in Alaska). Retailer delivery begins at the end of September for BRZ Premium and BRZ Limited. Retailer delivery begins at the end of March for BRZ Limited with the Performance Package and BRZ Series.Yellow"

I was told by my local dealer that the Series.Yellow will be arriving November/December.

He also said he is able to order 2017's with the performance package already, doesn't have an exact time line when they will be at dealers but thinks it might be October/November.

Doesn't really matter to me as I told him I want one for early 2017.

BIG wait difference for those wanting the Performance package. Wonder when the BBK will show up in the parts catalog.
