No it's compatible with US-spec and Canadian-spec models

I have one from first gen with the adjustable brightness. Updated version is non-adjustable, but has a much more plug & play install. I still think these will work for both US and Canada model BRZ

just to clarify, once installed, both leds and boomerang will be on when headlights are off. when headlights are on, the leds are still on?

is there a way to have boomeaing and leds on when headlights are off, but have led off when headlights are on?

Ya, twist the lights knob. You just have to deal with the other lights on too like the instrument panel, side markers and rear lights. No need to get this mod.

the DRL's turn off when the lowbeams are on. The lights inside will dim the navigation screen as well and will make it harder to see during bright days.

Also received mine yesterday, will probably do the install sometime today.

Yea thats what he wants it to be like. The navigation screen can be set to dim at a specific time or auto with the sun--not just when the lights are on.

yeah i know turning the stalk will do that, was just hoping i didn't have to do that every time.

but good info on the screen dim, i didn't know you can set it to do it at a specific time or auto with the sun.

will this work for 2016+ as well? since our head unit is different

Lately I noticed mine isn't working 100% of the time.... O.O still works during the day but the DRL won't turn on @ night... Any tips on why?

Im not sure. I only know my own headunit.
