-original post-

Hello everyone! I just joined and figured as my first post I should make a journal page, to make my mark. I've owned several Nissan S-chassis cars for over 10 years...

I've finally have decided to move on to a more comfortable toy that I can still have some fun with. I daily a Nissan Titan... so the FRS is my "fair-weather" driver.

I just picked it up on memorial day, used, with just under 25k miles. Only one owner before me, who modified it slightly before I got my hands on it. As a matter of fact I continue to find things that were done... and luckily for me, they seem to have been done well and not thrown together

The first shot I saw of it, after digging online for one over a few weeks

Being at an Audi dealer, they pulled it in a room with a lit wall so I could check it out better

thus begins my modifications.....

first... all the lights on this thing are LED or HID... except the license plate lights? Nope.

then.... the trunk light is one little bulb? Nope.

add a factory rear diffuser.

Scion didn't put the trunk finishers in to save money...? lame. Had to add a little glowing emblem love while I was at it.

added one of these steering wheel emblem covers... which I'm still not really sure if it will be staying or not. At some point a steering wheel swap may be in order.

and... this week my new Stillen front lip showed up which is currently getting painted. Picture was just of the test fitting

... and so it continues.

thanks Nick. I still have one at the moment, but it's actively for sale.I'll miss it... but I won't at the same time. I built it as a track specific car and now with a house and wife it just isn't realistic anymore. Loving my FR-S though!

House and wife, then kid. That's why mine dissappeared. Then came another kid and a Skyline. So I guess everything worked out.

started painting the Stillen lip... and realized that silver ignition paint doesn't coat worth a damn... used twice what I normally do and still ran out before getting it to my liking... so more is on the way.

but I did pop it up on the car to see what it was looking like, here are the current results.

Needs a few more light coats and clear

just ordered a set of these in a staggered fitment since I'm not the biggest fan of the 19's on the car. Any tire recommendations? Looking at 235/40r18 front and 265/35r18 rear possibly.

Thanks! form and fit wise it's fantastic... I think I will be replacing the hose it came with soon though, to get something that eliminates the sound generator.

Finally finished painting the lip, it came out pretty well I think. I picked the Stillen front lip because of previous experience with Stillen's quality. The fit on this thing is amazing... only two tiny screws needed. Also, because I love the notion that it looks like it could possibly be factory with those who aren't into the cars like you or I. What do you guys think?

its been a while since I posted an update... so I'll try to think of what all I've done since... haha. Changed to the R5 wheels, added some chargespeed rear spats, valenti taillights, gcs 4th brake light, and just added TRD side skirts... as well as a few small things... here's a few photos.

small update... nothing really new on the car, trying to plan next steps. Went to Import Faceoff in Gainesville, FL a few weeks ago. Met some new people, and had an overall good time. Not sure if I'll go back next year though.

Been busy lately! added some Tein Flex A coilovers, a front&rear Neo Motorsports brake kit.... as well as some small odds and ends.

The brakes came off a car some of you might recognize... it was a scion tuner challenge winner in 2013, know as "Minty Fresh"

these bad boys are 6 piston front calipers, on a 14" 2 piece rotor... and 4 piston rear on a 13" 2 piece rotor.

I went with the Flex A's from Tein because they feature a Hydraulic bump stop... as the car is not a committed track vehicle... i wanted something sort of "Dual purpose" that could be comfortable for daily driving... but also capable of handling a track day here and there. So far I'm loving them
