Has anyone got any pictures of the DRL on the GT. I tried to get the sales person to show me where they were and how they looked. But the guy didn't have much luck. Even after turning the engine etc.

Its just the fog lights in a dim mode - gotta disengage the handbrake and have it in first/D for it to turn on.

Just had a test drive then.
Driving her was better than cumming. Just perfect, nothing to dislike about her anywhere. Gave it a good thrust also when driving her on the freeway onramp too. No hesitation whatsoever. Toyota did an absolute great job with the creation of this car, care and thought all the way throughout. I havent seen the qualities and attributes in a new car like this in well over a decade and a half. |

Test drove Black GT today.
For my purposes Toyota have just nailed this car. I've no need for power, but I love to sit low, love sharp steering and short shift gear box. This car gives all of that, plus the reliability of a Toyota/Subu. This car fits the driver like a glove. I was very worried about the interior of the GT given the criticism, however it's not that bad, given the car lists for under 30k I reckon it's just fine. If you can afford a Gts great, but the interior of the GT still offers power everything, Bluetooth, 7 airbags etc etc. I'd love a little more colour variety, even the base Yaris has the odd silver highlight, but really the interior is fine given the purpose and price. Can't wait for my GT to arrive. |

I would have to agree. The silver in the pictures just looks bland to me. But seeing it today changed my mind a bit. It was the finish I guess. A bit more grown up. Would still definitely prefer white over it though

So guys finally!!!!!!!!........
Test drove the GTS Manual Demo at a dealership today..... Everyone has already said what i will anyway... Car was great... Coming from a 6Ltr Big Cammed Manual Ute i can say this car has a surprising amount of torque down low.... Yes its very average through the mid range but thats only if u change up gears to quick IMO. Gear change correctly and u wont notice it at all.. The poor saleswoman Pauline probably wished she wore a neck brace because i was not going to go light just cause she was sitting next to me. She is a Minx, wonder if she is single?.. I seen her check out the speedo a few times but never said anything..Good woman... So only negatives r average mid range, clutch to light for me, And didnt get Pauline to catch up with me when she knocked off work.... Little brother was in the back and he didnt mind it at all but it was cramped a bit.. He is 179cm for the record.... Between the 3 of us there was 220kg in the car roughly... The car is brilliant, Silver looks great..... Guys this is everything we wanted..... Its pure sex..... Does need to be dumped though... I didnt feel i was that low when sitting in it but a lot of people say that...... Totally surprised it had sat nav standard... I didnt know that even though its probably been told a million times, i just never took note... Anyway u'll love it... Money well spent.... Gear shifts were so short!! If anyones driven a MX-5 or Commodore with a walkinshaw short shift this is shorter.... Boot space is average but i wont be driving around with my spare or that cover so will allow more room.... Enjoy the pic.....
