I never played/watched/interacted with Pokemon so I don't know what all the fuss is about. I'm just waiting for the first reports of some clown walking in front of a moving car/train/meteor playing PGo.

For everyone walking around hatching Pokemon eggs, check out a free app called Woof Trax (www.wooftrax.com). Woof Trax has deals with sponsors to donate funds to an animal rescue of your choice based on the number of miles you walk.

You must watch the anime from the beginning and play the game on Game Boy.

Yeah.......
I question the mental state of those that play it over the age of 21.

Welp, better line up several million nerds to resupply just about every industrial endeavor in the country after they all head to the loony bin. The people that build missiles and spaceships and cars and computers and cell phones are out there catching 'em all on their lunch break. I think I saw at least 100 people in the park last night downtown, smack dab in the middle of Apple, Lockheed, Microsoft, Google, Tesla, and NASA, and they weren't high schoolers out late, nah pokemon was before their time, an 18 year old today wasn't even born yet when Red & Blue hit shores. I wonder how many biotech geeks developing lab grown replacement organs got hooked on biology after evolving Bulbasaur? Nah, that's a long shot right?

I've got buddies in their 30's giddily showing off whatever rare pokemon they snagged that day. A 30 year old today was 12 when Pokemon came out.

Enjoy your high horse buddy, I've got a gym to battle.

I have a high horse! ...and I also do battle at my home gym.
Playing video games in the privacy of your own home is one thing but 30 year olds shouldn't be running around playing phone games out in public like middle school kids.
This is coming from somebody who grew up playing Atari and almost everything in between right up to now with a gaming PC and PS4 so I know immature but sorry adults playing Pokemon in public is just lame.
Was out this weekend on a very late night bike ride with my 17 yr old son, also a video gamer, and watched several adults running around in a park Pokemoning and it was a very sorry and embarrassing sight.

I played the previous version of this game (Ingress) for 2+ years until end of 2015.

It's pretty much the same game minus the fancy graphics.

You're right, no high horse for you. It's a shame you've spent so many years on this planet and are still concerned with how others perceive you.

Best of luck, hope you don't discourage your son from doing the things he enjoys.
