Am I the only one who thinks the PP wheels look like garbage?

You mean they don't- "The new 86 has been perfected to such an extent that, from the moment the steering wheel is gripped and the vehicle accelerates away, every driver will be able to recognise its evolution.”

The only thing I don't like is the angled part where the spokes connect to the rim. I see the pattern but having it angled to only one side on an evenly split 10 spoke wheel just looks odd. I prefer the style of 10 spoke star shaped wheels most but the evenly spoked wheels satisfy the mechanical efficiency side of me more (like what the F1 cars use). :P

Autoblog review up:
http://www.autoblog.com/2016/07/08/2...-drive-review/ A few reviewers (including Autoblog's) have commented on how the very poor weather conditions at the track prevented them from pushing too hard. It seems the effects of the MCR changes will not be fully understood until some fair-weather comparisons are run. Last edited by Sport-Tech; 07-08-2016 at 01:01 PM. |

Strangely all the reviews are saying that the rear suspension is now softer, but no one questions how they solved the rear bottoming out issue...

I no longer have this stock rear bottoming out problem with the Bilstein shocks (also softer ride than stock if you can believe). |

Yes, but what about the stock suspension? They're saying that they increased the rear sway-bar thickness and the rear suspension is softer. No? |

Interesting cuz my STI rear springs with the Bilstein package are the same part numbers as before when I bought the standalone for the stock shocks and nothing else changed, but cured the annoying occasional bottoming out of the rear.

Yeah, availability is my biggest question mark here, seeing as we didn't get some bits here in the states. But for all we know, they'll be announcing available stuff closer to release. I can't imagine they won't even give us the chrome fender stickers. I'm not so much worried about how to source them if unavailable, I'm just hoping we'll have the proper plug-and-play connections for them. Also, it appears you'll need a different housing area to fit the LED bars in. |

It will not be available here. Subaru sells similar led bar kits for all their models in Japan that they don't sell here, but Japan parts and sites like t will be the source of those if you choose to import. A good 70% of that stuff is already on the site (since it's carried over from the current BRZ). The kits come with everything to make it work provided the actual car here has the internal wiring to make it so. If not, it's as simple as tapping another power source for it (I've installed Subarus kit on a WRX which required tapping and on a Forester that was pnp). Also, it does not require a different housing. If you look at a close up of the housing, it's actually a two piece, with the part where the led goes being removable for it. The chrome fender trim will most likely still be an option here but similar to how a majority of those parts are already available for the current BRZ and never made it here, I expect it to be the same.

I wanted the BRZ originally but the toyota.jp pics of the 86 look so nice but then these sti pics come out and then the trd pics come out (the red car was hideous but the white one has a better angle for pics) and now I'm at an impasse between which one I want.
