I have to agree with you, that is why I bought a 2016. But man do I love this car!

Well considering that the pic is a BRZ...

I like the rear spoiler on my Monogram better then these, or what is on the BRZ currently.

I'll agree that the front of the '17 86 is too loud for my tastes, over the '13-'16 fronts, but you have to remember that replacing/changing a front bumper (cover) is extremely easy, and probably really cheap nowadays since the zenki's have been out for 4 years now.

Changing and replacing all the other bits that set aside the kouki from the zenki, is not as easy, nor as cheap. "True beauty is on the inside" or however it goes. The revised block and its internals, transmission, FD, reinforced chassis points, etc. all add up.

I'm looking at it through the eyes of keeping the car indefinitely, not buying and enjoying for 5-7 years then trading up. When you expect to have the car that long, the simpler things to fix/replace seem moot at purchase.

Like the zenki JDM front for my red hatchback. I can take that off and put it back on in less than 10 minutes. But the rare optioned LSD rear on it? Bit more of a hassle to get taken apart. If I wanted to slap a 7rib late model 4A-GE in there, well, it would obviously require me to pull the engine....quite the hassle. The bumpers though? Easy peasy.

If I get kouki 86, I'll get Modellista front lip to make it less busy

Whoa guys hold on... we aren't talking about non factory aesthetic modifications are we? Specifically replacement of OEM body panels? Cuz that would make your car distasteful and a giant bowl of rice. We all know you have to have a turbo LS swap before you can change the way your car looks.

Except wheels. You can replace your wheels but only if they cost at least 1/2 the value of the car at brand new retail value and lighter than your spare. I realize you'll never notice a difference in handling or make use of their light weight benefits but you have to do it anyways. Sorry

Oh and if you're wondering why everyone is laughing at your car is because your mods weren't approved by the Society of Automotive Elitists. If you want to beg for approval you can send your inquiries to my parents basement where I'll be living for 10 years after I escape puberty. Have a nice day, plebs.

It reminds me why I fell in love with the Five Axis kit, it emphasized the car without fighting the original design. I love that Modellista kit.

The front lips smooths out the bottom "fangs" in the stock 17 whoch I think helps it appeal more, to me at least..

Do you prefer bat-mobile?

imo Modellista front lip looks better atm... BUT I'm pretty sure other shops will make new designs.

Can't wait to see all the parts showing off at SEMA this yr.
