I have my front plate on the grill and its fine. No issues with heat. They are like that from the dealer.

BTW I've logged coolant and oil temps with the front plate mounted like that. No issues with heat in daily driving.

In my state, Texas, it's required by law but not strongly enforced so some people don't run with it on.

Yep - though there is now officially a fine attached so it can be a more expensive risk.

I think every state is a "must".
I do still put license plate on the rear,,but not the front to ruin the JDM look!

Not required in AZ. I don't know if there are others.

It's not required in about 18 states. And I hate to tell you but the "jdm look" has 100% front plates installed and rear plate sealed at shaken (inspection) (rear is not removable)

In states where it's required by law, I always wonder why people willingly give cops an excuse to harass them?

Does the car look better without a front tag? Sure. Do I need to give the fuzz a reason? Nope.
