Oh I've got about $2.5k in stupid Nav/stereo system upgrades to do for a reason I don't know. I bought a TRD shift knob for no reason and an Injen CAI that hasn't arrived. We'll see about that.

Oh, and I had a Beemer before, so expensive parts are kind of expected.

You'll need a reverse lock out to go with that shift knob... I got mine super cheap on eBay cuz I didn't want to pay Perrin 60$ to have their name on it

Ebay. Grimmspeed, raceseng. Google around. Mine cost $15 from taiwan and fit/looks great. The name brand ones are a little fancier and in different colors but cost about $70. They didn't offer a simple brushed aluminum look like I wanted. Check the classifieds too. If you can be patient you can snag some great deals there

Looks like the one I got isn't being sold on eBay any more
The silver Beatrush one looks like what I have, just costs 4x as much... Ft86speedfactory, 86speed, frsport, 86worx are where I get/look for parts. Of course evasive and vivid sell stuff too but they are kinda pricey. Always double check ebay and Amazon before ordering and sometimes you can get discounts from the sponsors on the forums |

With the internet now there isn't much you can't get from a domestic distributor. Unless you want super obscure JDM stuff from little companies that don't have distribution contacts with us. Then you almost need a guy on the island to take care of it. Suppose you could always ask evasive if they can find it. They seem to be the biggest importer of fancy JDM parts

It's all up to you what you do to your car. People on the internet will say all kinds of stupid shit about how you shoulda done it differently or how distasteful this and that is but it's your car and only your opinion truly matters |
