I think you're going to be the first BRZer in Vegas on this forum. Glad to hear they got rid of the markup and their useless and expensive "required" dealer package.

And yeah, it is going to feel like hell waiting for the car to get in haha.

It took a lot of talking to get them to drop the "required" dealer package, 2k is ridiculous markup for the services that they offered with it.

wow, congrats, I'm pretty surprised you could get them to do it. They called me today saying they have 5 MT SWP limiteds inbound and none of them are sold yet. That's the car I wanted, but I've moved now to KC.

They have a bunch of BRZs, good to know now that you can actually get one at MSRP.

I just spoke to subaru as well for my friend and they had a 2k mark up on some package. Im trying to get them to drop it but doesn't seem like it will work.

They called me and are trying to still sell me on that package but I told them if they add it I walk and that seemed to deter them some.

I was going to get a BRZ from them as well before I bought my FR-S. They kept telling me that there was nothing they could do about the markup and the dealer installed packages. Apparently they were lying because they took off the markup recently. Keep pressuring them until the papers are actually signed!

I'm proud you did the right thing. Stay firm with what you want and make sure you read and understand everything they have you sign. The minute they try to sell you on anything else that you don't want just get up and walk. I also tried to buy a BRZ from this one and only Subaru dealer in Vegas and they told me it was non negotiable and the Subaru assurance program is part of the deal. I almost gave in but I held my ground on what I could afford to pay and went to Findlay Toyota/Scion and the rest is history. You're doing great with how you are handling the situation with the deal and I'm very confident you will get want you want in the end.

who was you sales person unleashed because im dealing with the internet manager Andrew and he would not remove it no matter what. The package is kinda ridiculous they marked up the msrp of a limited by 2k and then add thier package on top its 31k not including taxes and fees. cray!!

That's whack man! Don't buy with that mark up. Keenan is my sales guy. Good guy so far, Andrew doesn't seem to listen sometimes. I've also got one of their lead specialty mechanics putting in good words for me

Would anyone be interested in attending the MR2 meeting on July 5th @ 6pm at the In&Out off Sahara?

A MR2 owner bought an FRS last meet and brought it and I thought it would be cool to combine the meets and maybe go for a nice cruise towards blue diamond.
