I'd be willing to drive mine up to Phoenix for any meet ups you guys might have, you should keep me informed! Haven't really been much into the car scene in AZ but now that I have this nifty vehicle, I'm looking to get more involved.

Yesterday, I installed crash bolts and maxed out the camber, and I set the toe a tad out, Today, I put three gallons of 100 octane in my tank, and then filled the remainder with 91, and then took a little trip to the Canyon Lakes today.

I kept the nannies on, and I didn't push any limits. Mostly 3rd and 2nd gear, some 4th and occasional 5th (I went to the end of the highway). The only fustrating part was easily catching up to any vehicle (motorcycle or car in front of me). 10 mph turns were easily 16-17 or so, and 15 mph turns were more often closer to 25 -27. The car handled the climbs in the mid morning heat (about 90 or so) without a problem.

I can't wait until I hit the 1,000 mile mark and get to hammer it a bit even though it is no hot rod.

Since I am keeping it more or less stock, and running autox as Road Tire Rear (RTR), the only changes have been the camber and toe. I have a set of 17x7 Kosei wheels coming (14.1 lbs.) and 215x45x17 Hankook RS3s. Probably next purchase might be a front sway bar, but this coming weekend will help clarily the decision (El Toro autox, one of the best sites in the nation).

I think I might replace the stock tires with Hankooks, but I am not sure.

work is going to interfere with that, but I am over the 2k mark on the odo. Made a trip to LA, then up to San Ramon the past few days. Had some fun with a porsche on the 5, and a few others, all in all, a nice drive.

Hi guys. I'm a proud owner of a black BRZ in Tucson. I won't be able to make it to the Cars and Coffee since I'm getting my tinting done on Saturday. If you see me around, feel free to say hi.

So I picked up a free ticket for a detailing job.

Does anyone know a good detail shop either in Tucson, or a place in Phoenix that's open on Saturday? Preferably a place that also can do an opti-coat treatment? Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Careful out there man, I totalled my S13 240SX on that road. I like to go at night to avoid other people though. Make sure you let a friend know where you're going and when to start worrying about you, though. Cell reception is hit or miss out there. I usually text one of my automotive friends before I head out and give them a time frame to start worrying about me.

Like I said, "I kept the nannies on, and I didn't push any limits." I save pushing limits for autox. I was simply adjusting to the exquisite handling.

That's smart. We do the same thing with mountain biking.
