Today I picked up my 2015 Dark Grey Metallic BRZ. I couldn't be more stoked. This is my first Subaru as well, looking forward to the future.

Earlier this spring after test driving the BRZ, WRX & MX-5, I decided to purchase a BRZ Limited in WRB, seemed like a simple task... But, I couldn't find a 2016 in WRB anywhere close, I was resolved to just ordering a 2017 from the local dealer & wait till the fall. When one popped up on my radar at a local dealer on May 9th. I e-mailed right away & was presented with a very good offer of $25,766 the next morning. I thought that seemed like a great price & accepted the offer right away. A follow-up phone call was interesting as the salesman said he couldn't actually find the car, but not to worry.

Long story-short. It turns out the car I was buying was actually the BRZ that was in the Subaru booth of the 2016 Chicago Auto Show & the dealer had it at the upholstery shop getting several things redone. Here's a photo of me & my wife at the show, little did we know the BRZ behind us was the actual car I was buying.



I was a little leery of buying a car that had been manhandled by thousands of people at the show, but the dealer assured me that when they were done prepping the car it would be in showroom condition.

It took the dealer about 8 weeks to prepare the car as they had several items to replace after the Car show including new seats. I guess after a few thousand people sit in your car, new seats are justified Anyway, I took deliver at the beginning of June & just recently past the 1k break-in period, definitely enjoying the BRZ as my daily driver around the far NW burbs.

Hi! New owner of a 2016 BRZ Limited here in San Antonio, TX. I've already posted a couple of times on the Reddit forum. But here's my new ride.



Yes, the roof is wrapped and it was wrapped by the dealer I bought it from here. I love the way it drives and this is a nice ride for a guy who used to own a '91 MR2 and a '89 Celica.
