Just looked up what the 14R60 actually is. I'd still rather have the Evasive Pike's Peak car in my garage than the 14R60.

I love the 14R60. But that would definitely not be my car of choice going up Pikes Peak unless it had more than 500hp.

However, 12:33 with 200hp is impressive going up Pikes Peak. Fumio is no stranger to hill climbs and rally. He is a pro rally-ist in the All-Japan pro rally championships.

Another thing is that, you can't buy this car even if you wanted to. all 100 cars are sold through a private raffle thing if you have enough money. The buyer for this car isn't looking @ pure preformance value but it's more like collector buying an museum piece back home. Most owners probably just store them @ storage in japan.
Yeah, the more I learn about the car the more I understand it. Based on the information the project manager gave me the car is just plain stupid. But you guys (and Mr. Google) have helped me understand there is much more going on with the car than what I was originally led to believe.

Well I did. And if I did I can assure you many others have. Why wouldn't they cross-shop the two if they are both sports cars in the same price range? It's only natural to do so.

You can have the evasive car, I will take the 14R60 and reap 10x more profit when I sell to some random collector/museum down the road. ✌️

I guess our priorities are different. Resale value was not even in my thought process.

So I guess you wouldn't even drive it, just let it sit and wait until you can make 10x more profit by selling it to a collector/museum?

So here's a question then, since I own a similar style of car.

S2000 or S2000 CR?

I know that's a trick question coming from you, but if it were me, I'd get a regular S2000 because I'm not a track junkie. And a helmet, because my head sticks up over the windshield frame. And that's why I never bought an S2000. There was a very nice yellow 2005 back in the day that I still think about...

S2000 for track duty, CR for a nice weekend/collector car.

I'm of the opinion that CRs will be decently collectible in time. They aren't super rare but not very common either, and they're pretty desirable. I love the way they look too.

In 10+ years I see them (S2000 CR) as being collectible on somewhat the same level as the ITR is now.
