Dude it was a Dart. There could be no other outcome.

Probably the poorest performing turboed car I have ever test drove. And without a turbo well...

This explains the dart outside the bar I was at Saturday night as I didn't even know they came with a turbo. 4 people in their early to mid 20s in a dart doing pulls in the parking lot, whole 9 yards with brake torques and slamming on the brakes when stopping, and you could hear the turbo and stupid loud BOV. I almost had a shred of respect thinking it was an aftermarket turbo install...

Of course the assholes are doing pulls in the same aisle of the parking lot that people turn in from the main road but stupidity knows no bounds....

Sounds about right. There's a guy that lives around me has a blue Dart and after everytime he comes to a full stop he takes off in 1st and releases the gas so it makes that Whoosh sound... Only it sounds stupid on the dart... but it's adorable

Pulled into my neighborhood today and I see a Neon SRT coming in the opposite direction. Without fail, he gets on it just so he could perfectly BOV right when he was lined up with me when we crossed paths. I don't understand why cars that come stock with a turbo feel the need to remind other cars that they have a turbo. Especially a turd built by Chrysler, I would never envy a Dodge (except maybe a Viper, but even they aren't that cool).

When I had my WRX I couldn't resist timing my shifts so I WHOOSHED as I passed by the car next to me. I mean it was to the point I didn't even care if I shifted at 2k or 6k I just wanted to hiss at people, lol.

I probably live in the most boring area in the most boring state when it comes to cars. Everyone here drives old minivans and soccer-mom SUV's and maybe the occasional corvette (cause those damn things are everywhere). I have seen a few mustangs trying to look cool on the interstate but I can never take them seriously.

I have, however, come across this guy on his superbike a couple times when I go out on a specific road. Last time I saw him he recognized me, waved, and we paced each other for a few miles. It was pretty fun.

I have a muffler delete on my burz that crackles and pops on downshifts, upshifts, and when I let out of the throttle altogether. But it really gets going when I drop from any throttle at all to about 10% throttle. When I see that I am going to come alongside a long line of cars at a light of something, I do that and crack and burble all the way to a stop lol.

Have you ever owned a turbo vehicle?

My old CSRT4 was actually a very good car. Ridiculously fun to drive and with mid 330 whp it was a fun little daily driver. So....yeah. A lot of owners give them a bad rap, but those cars are very robust for what they are.
