I live in western Canada and did a road trip from Calgary to Montreal the first summer I had my FR-S. It was an long drive. I find it funny that you consider GTA to NFLD half the country with the perception Toronto is the center of Canada. The driving distance to Victoria BC from GTA is nearly 4400 km where as the driving to St. John's is about 2800 km. All sarcasm aside I love doing road trips like this. Everyone should get out on the roads and explore our vast country.

That drive through Saskatchewan though... Arrow straight rod just fades off into the distance.

Get up and drive some more until we are there.

That is a very nice little trip you have laid out there.
Hah yep... my bike rides out west were like that...

If ........

you are still in the Fredericton area. I would go to the Mataquac dam. There is a salmon fish hatchery there that is worth the visit.

I highly suggest a windshield coating called "Aquapel" - it's roughly $10 per stick and each stick officially lasts 6 months but I've used it for up to a year before reapplying. It is WAY better than Rain X in heavy rains and lasts MUCH longer. The only advantage Rain X has over Aquapel is that Rain X works better at speeds of 30-55km/hr. Aquapel destroys Rain X in heavy rain and speeds above 55km/hr.

If you need some, I think I still have some spare sticks to sell you.

I'm definitely gonna get some, when we were driving the windshield wipers weren't moving quick enough for the amount of rain coming down.

It's pretty cool. Goes through the whole process with some extremely large ones in a holding tank ready to be released. I am heading down for 7 days in July as part of my 50th birthday gift. Am looking at your journey with keen interest. Keep the pics coming. Awesome so far. I'll try to fill in some of the blanks on my trip. LOL! What a day it was today. The more East you go the more you catch that maritime vibe.

We started off at Fredericton to visit the trails of odell Park. They were Alright, nothing I really haven't seen at home.

Then we set off to St John.
Here are some shots on the drive to St John New Brunswick

We stopped at Irving nature Park afterwards and hiked through some of the trails. I finally caught a glimpse of the ocean

Then we walked aroundthe city for a bit and I have to say it's a gorgeous city I would love to live there. If I had known moncton looked like thid I would have opted to stay in St John.

We ate at thandis and the food was great for the price you paid. You got big portion sizes too.

We then set off to Moncton which is alright I guess. The city's kinda boring here just lots of loud motorcycle traffic and drunks walking on main street. Maybe I missed something though.
We stopped by at magnetic hill which is the trippiest thing I've ever seen. Even driving down the hill you can feel it pull the car back. I would definitely recommend you guys go there if you visit I thought it was some overhyped nonsense but it lives up to its name

More pictures to come tomorrow since it will be an event packed day at Hopewell rocks, tree go and finally the nice drive to Prince Edward Island via the confederation bridge.

I may drive from Guelph to Surrey BC in September. Probably going to make it a 10 day trip and do as much as I can

Do it. That might cost some more money than my trip depending if you bring someone with you or if you choose to camp or stay in a hotel

The good news is that there is literally nothing to do in either Manitoba or Saskatchewan.
