Scion BRZ Headunit Swap
Hello All,
I still have not found a reasonably priced replacement for a missing map SD card in my BRZ, so instead of continuing on without sound or coughing up 500 bucks for a replacement, I thought I might just buy a used Scion head unit and swap the whole thing out. My question is, will these two units swap without any modification? I literally know nothing at all about these things, and don't even really care enough about music or radio stuff to buy something better or understand the nuances of these things, I don't mind car sounds. I just thought it'd be nice to have some sound for the occasional passenger I have in my car. Any potential pitfalls to such a plan that I should be aware of before going forward? Thanks! |
