Looks pretty much like every stock dyno I have ever seen.

Well the line will vary depending on the dyno accuracy.
I for one think that the graphs make the dip look way worse that it really is when driving. I pass through it in a fraction of a second so barely even notice it.

I was reading somewhere, cannot find the article so take it with a grain of salt, that everyone is offended by the 5hp gain, but you'll actually be achieving a great wheel horsepower than the first generation. Would be quite interesting and with the gear ratios being modified possible better acceleration times?

Based on the charts @Tcoat posted, there seems to be top end HP difference. That amount seems to be inline with what Moto stated about the changes to WHP. Interesting...

Those are old ones. Just was comparing to the ones on the gauge cluster from the 17 to show the dip was still there. There can be a large difference in each graph anyway since some dynos read higher or lower than others. No idea how accurate the gauge is either so we really don't know a whole lot more yet (other than the dip still shows on the BRZ pamphlet).
Who knows maybe the pics were from one with the new gauges but still an old engine.

Depends also on the scale of the graph. For sure the dip is still there.

Same here, I'm either usually below it or above it, rarely in the worst part of it unless just passing quickly from one to the other. it is probably most impactful in the 0-60 times more than anything else.

But 0-60 is life. How else will magazine racers compare cars

By HP numbers. Don't be silly.

936HP must be fast!

I prefer power-to-weight ratio. It's not perfect, but it can give you a feeling

So you've not opted for the frequently discussed torque dip header & tune mods?
