I had my strangest stop light encounter today

For anyone who has the car yet, you know what I'm talking about. In the week and a half since I've owned it, I've probably talked to 15 people about the car, from gas station attendants to people in shopping center parking lots, and even a Porsche Turbo driver at a red light. Today, one encounter at a red light blew that all away. As I'm sitting there, I hear "how do you like it?" from the lane next to me and turn to see a guy leaning out of his ice cream truck. I get 10x the attention in this thing than I do in the 911.

LOL, Yeah I never think that fast either... I always have the, "If only I'd thought of "this" to say!" And it always HOURS later.

I had the brz for almost 3 weeks. A cop asked me the same question you got from the Porsche. Some days are better than others. Now I know how hot women feel. It's getting to my ego.

My favorite is when some one passes me going the other way down a county highway and I see them leaning so far out the window that they have to put their car back into their own lane. I just pray I don't cause an accident by having too awesome of a car. I did get a thumbs up from a Delorean yesterday.

i have yet to encounter people asking about my car, but i do always drive with my windows up haha. although a couple times i have spotted people driving by me with their heads turned towards my car the whole time lol.

I presume it's because when some people see a guy in a Porsche they think, "Rich asshole." But when they see you in a more affordable car as just a guy who got one early, there is less of an i'd-never-be-able-to-afford-that type of attitude. Just a theory. It's the same reason i give more attention to an old 300ZX than a 2011 GTR on the street.

happens all the time for me. The funniest one probably was when this guy in a civic drove next to me and im assuming his gf, leaned over him covering his sight from the road just to look at my brz.. im glad he didnt crash into me!

Was turning into my apartment today and there two kids in a rx7 that were super excited to see the car. They were at the light and threw it in reverse and did a u turn to follow me and check out the car.
