I spoke with Jeff at AudioHeaven today and he told me they cannot install it over Opti-coat, said it wouldn't stick...

Ya ventureshield has issues. The two customerw both went venturreshiele. My last poat ia a bit wrong. I did two before installs ans they both had issues. The others had it applier right after install.

Do different brands have different ability to stick to opti-coat? Which brand is best , 3M?

Just don't follow people so close on the freeway. Works for me.. Was never a fan of Opti Coat. It's like permanent wax for lazy people. I love waxing my car.
