a female valet got in my car to drive it to the service center at the dealership for maintenance...it made me worry because i had had traction and vsc off in sport mode

The one time I had to take my car in the guy that was sent to drive it had to return without so much as moving it, and the service manager had to drive... no one else knew how to drive stick!

One instructor who drove my car a few weeks back had trouble getting outta park because he thought it was simply move the gear selector down... instead of push right until neutral, then let it move left, then down into drive. He also had trouble putting back into park so he left it in neutral and simply engaged the parking brake.

Makes me wonder if the few other people who had to drive my car had the same troubles...

That's beyond pathetic. At that point I would have verbally questioned him to figure out if he was up to the task.

Well to be fair, he is a manual only guy.. and probably used to old auto gear selectors that only went down...

He did show me what the car was capable of though. Probably @humfrz's age. I was a bit scared while he was driving...
