I think the Honda Civic teenaged crowd does the same thing.

This is just a very rough representation of the planned diffusor design...think of it as a double-tunnel hull design, where left and right hand sections have a steeper rise than the center section under the exhaust:
![]() Final design depends on how I can actually get the exhaust worked out. Will probably go with smaller tips as that are oriented more like a 911 GT3-RSR racecar as well...

That's because of your aftermarket exhaust. The stock muffler works in conjunction with our rear bumper for better air flow. When you replace the stock muffler with an aftermarket that isn't 1 big muffler like the stock one, you'll get that.

im really really considering this, and yes a diffuser from driveway maybe sometime later but i like the way it looks without just throw in a new pair of control arms, a brace and some coils and the exhaust would really accent the car. i am just trying to figure out how i would mount the reverse light until i get the intec tails which have the integrated in them. It being texas i dont see the issue will having it untill i get the lights but dont wanna take a chance.

![]() Very pleased with actually being able to see while backing up.... MUCH better than stock. Still loving the fake diffusor being off the bumper...

Probably wont't be that effective with smoked tail lights, depends on how dark the taillights are... but mechanically no reason you couldn't use the kit.

Okay, instead of making another thread, I decided to Necro this one.
Has anyone reattached the bumper faux diffuser thing? I have a Black FRS with a complete bumper and a White BRZ with a cut bumper. I need the cut bumper on the FRS and the uncut bumper on the BRZ, but to do that, I would have to repaint at least one of them, if not both (one is a DD and one is a track car). But then I had the genius idea, what if I cut the Black bumper's faux diffuser and reattached it to the white bumper? I figure a strong enough glue would be able to hold it on pretty well? Anyone ever try?
