Jalopnik and TTAC are all the same since the twins came out, very annoying and reoccurring theme for them to make fun of the twins whenever the chance they get. Their resident trolls are the worst when it comes to the comment section.

I've stopped going to these two sites altogether and since rekindled with traditional car publications at the bookstore.

no need to go to the bookstore, they all have handy daily emails that literally have everything the magazines do. It is amazing, they are giving away their content for free.

Call me old fashioned but there are some times that a paper magazine still trumps a phone/tablet.

I'm guilty of spending too much time reading 90s gaming mags on the toilet in my youth, a phones just not the same.

I've never enjoyed reading articles online as much as I enjoy reading an actual magazine, either on the throne or off. The small excitement that springs from finding a new magazine waiting for me in my mailbox has never been duplicated with a new e-mail suddenly cluttering my inbox. Likewise, I find the tactile feel of flipping through a magazine's pages to be more involved and solicite a slower, more deliberate consumption of the information than I have ever felt by simply scrolling through the same article online. Online media is certainly faster and more convienient, but print media is more enjoyable and engaging. It's the manual transmission of the written word.

I wouldn't criticize so much Jalopnik. Everyone has his own opinions and experiences. Something that is good for many of us, might not be so good for others. Even if we want to keep the fun factor of the car, many are saying that it is missing torque. You might slide in places you don't want and in other places that you want to slide it is not hapenning. Personally, I would prefer the current car to be the base version and a car with a 2.5lt NA engine to be the "S" version. The FA20 engine was made using as a reference the FB20 engine. They could do the same using the existing FB25 engine. Other companies are doing the same. I guess we cannot have everything in life ...

Brakes, wheels, bigger tires (well wider), different dampers, special interior and paint. Ain't gonna be cheap.

Guess it is a good thing that those interested have all the extra time to save up... March 2017 is a long ways off.

I put a deposit down for a series.yellow this week. If I don't like the color in person I'll just step into another 2017. Sold my 2013 BRZ last month and already miss it. Will be nice to get into another one.

Anymore, and I think you are getting way to close to STi money. Hopefully they can come in closer to $31k for the Limited with PP.
