My local dealer had a Silver 86 GT Manual, I don't know if it was sold or not, I went by right on 5pm.

^^^ my dealer had the exact same car. Just took it for a test drive then. Plenty of low down torque for daily driving, mid range is disappointing but the ride and seating positions are beautiful!

in reference to my previous post on this thread, visited my dealer and went to check out the BLACK GT (manual) they had.

The car is absolute sex on wheels. Although base model looks much simpler than the GTS (i havn't seen the GTS in person), i actually don't mind the interior of the GT. its simply all black.

Sitting in the seats, i felt them hug me right away. Everything is within reach so that was awesome. Didn't get to test drive it though as it wasn't registered yet.

The shifter felt amazing, nice short throw and very solid. Headunit will need changing.

Although i did re-order a GTS after price release im beginning to sway towards the GT now because i simply cannot wait months for the GTS. My dealer said he didn't even know when it will be coming so that kind of puts me off. he told me stock controller wont tell him nor will toyota HQ?

Enjoy the pictures.

dmnjshshs (or whatever your name is lol), sit in a GTS before you make that decision. You might be surprised at the difference and disappointed that you changed your mind otherwise.

I drove a GT today also and whilst the interior is nice, it didnt wow me. It just felt like a new car. The dash is very bland and the quality seems "base" if I were to put a word to it. IMO its worth waiting for the exact car you want when it comes to buying a brand new car.

The GT interior is supposed to be basic and like a "base" model car.
I have only seen GTS in person so far though. Want to see GT because that's what I ordered.
I really don't think I will be disappointed with it at all though.

You won't be. Everything feels just right in the GT. It feels small, the seats hold you really well, and the there's no button clutter.

Saw a black GT 86 last weekend and was relieved to find the interior very nice and liveable. was worried it would look very cheap, but it looked really nice although bland. Having said that i havent seen a GTS in person yet.

I test drove the GTS today but my order was for a GT previously, i think the GTS just has more things lighting up in the cabin
Everything else between the 2 will probably be modified thus i think the 6k difference could go towards modifications instead lol
