It's been a long time waiting, but it is official now. The HKS V3 Supercharger with Flash Editor now works for the 2013-2016 FR-S and BRZ (MT only) ECU's. We've updated the software on all of our current stock, and any going forward will have the newest software loaded.

Please note that if you buy this kit (12001-KT003A) from a retailer that already has the kit in stock, it may not be updated yet. However, not to worry!

If you purchase a kit for a 2015+ car your kit includes Initialization Software V7.03, you will need the new software version before it will work. Just send us the USB drive with the old version, and we'll send you a new one with V7.07 (adds 2015-2016 compatibility).

Pricing on this kit with the Flash Editor is $4100, and as always, without it is $3800.

There is no plans as of right now to apply for CARB certification.

Is it safe to assume the v3 kit will work with all 2014 ECU ID's now? Or should I still try to get my ECU Scanned to confirm the ID.

It works with all Manual Transmission ECU's. It always has for 2013-2014. It doesn't hurt to scan it first though to confirm.
